The Reality Of Brokenness

Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I hope y'all had a good Father's Day this past Sunday. I'm happy to present another blog to y'all and that it's called "The Reality Of Brokenness". That sounds encouraging right? Well here's the bottom line. All of us have experienced brokenness in some way whether we like to admit it or not. I'm sure all of us can remember a text, email, phone call, or face to face interaction with someone or something when we got news that turned our lives upside down. Believe me friends so did I. But I also want to emphasize it wasn't like that in the beginning. Wait what!? Brokenness wasn't always a part of our world? Yes at once upon a time! Most of us know who our ancestors Adam and Eve right? Well they're mentioned in Genesis 1-3 and the Bible talks about how God created the world in six days. (That totally goes against Evolution. Perhaps in a different blog I'll share my views on that verses creation Lord willing!) Then God created Adam which means "man" or "from the dust" and Eve means "Mother Of All Living". Here's the crazy thing. Adam and Eve knew nothing what we know today. What do you mean? I mean they knew nothing about separation from God, each other, sickness, physical death, animals being a threat to them, war, poverty, or even mental illness! That wasn't their "norm" before the fall! It seems crazy to us but their reality was perfection and paradise everyday! But as we know the fall messed everything up. Because they listened to the enemy (or the serpent) above God brokenness that we know today came in the picture. But you know what? The fall didn't take God off guard. In fact thousands of years later He sent His Son Jesus first to forgive us our sins and to heal us from the brokenness of this fallen world. Isn't that good news? That's what the gospel is all about right? Some of what I wrote today comes from chapter 1 from my book "Strength For Enduring Adversity ". If you haven't gotten it I'd highly encourage you to do so. That's what I wanted to share with y'all. Blessings, get my book if you haven't gotten it, and have a blessed week in the Lord!
