New Year, New Opportunities

Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to share another blog called the "Millennial Reign Part 2". It's a follow-up from the previous blog that I shared before and I'll share more about what the 1,000 years will be like! Let me share with y'all something that the Lord in prayer shared with me years ago. He said. "The way the world is isn't the way I intended for us to be. I knew the fall of man would happen but I never intended for you guys to live the way you're living." The Lord basically showed me that the world being in its broken condition isn't what He intended for us! We know that before Adam and Eve sinned, the world was perfect! There was no sickness, death, mental illness, poverty, marital issues, no divorce, no miscarriage, no natural disasters, humans weren't worried about animals eating them, no sexual sin, no murder, no prison, no trauma, no betrayal, nor was there separation from God! In the garden of Eden, life was a utopia! But as we know sin drastically changed everything and the world was never the same again! It doesn't take ''rocket science'' to understand the devastating effects of sin impacting our world. But that's where the Millennial reign comes in. The Lord showed me what will happen during the Millennial reign will be a ''glimpse'' of what the world could have been like if there was no sin! Whew! What does Scripture have to say about that? The Bible says in Isaiah 11;6-8 talks about when Christ is king during the Millennial reign that the lion will die down with the lamb, calf and the lion being friends, cow and bear being friends, the lion eating straw, a child leading them out, and a child playing with a snake! I know, right? What is Isaiah saying here? It's saying that when Christ is king during the Millennial reign that the animal kingdom will be harmless to people! Whew! Can you imagine living in a world like that? We know that because of the fall wild animals often are a danger to humans, especially lions! But during the Millennial reign, that won't happen! Here's something else to talk about during the MIllennial reign, people on earth will live past the age of 100 years old! Do you ladies remember the man whose name is Methuselah? He was the father of Lamech, grandpa of Noah, (the same one who put the artk) and was the son of Enoch! Ladies, Methuselah lived to be 969 years old, the oldest man to have ever lived on the earth! (Side note Adam in the Bible died around the age 930 years old!) Ladies do y'all not know that during the Millennial reign that people will start living to be 900 years old? The Bible mentions in Isaiah 65;20 mentions that a person who dies at 100 years old will be considered dying prematurely and being accused during the Millennial reign! Isn't that something? Ladies, we know that not everyone lives to be 100 years old now and someone dying under 65 years old is considered dying prematurely! During the Millennial reign, because people will live to be 900 something years old but if someone dies at 100, that will be premature death! That will happen if someone willfully outwardly rebels against our Lord and Savior who chooses not to repent that will happen to! This brings me to the next point. When King Jesus rules during the Millennial reign, swift justice will happen. Ladies I know the sting of injustice, something that me and a loved one is going through right now especially when it comes to issues in court. It's sad that oftentimes justice is delayed in our fallen world. But during the Millennial reign, there will be justice and justice will happen swiftly when someone gets out of line! Remember Christ is love but He's also holy and sin will be dealt with immediately! That's something I'll be looking forward to in addition to reigning with Christ! The Bible also mentions there will be no war during the Millennial reign, something I addressed in the previous blog! Can you imagine living in a world like that? We live in a world where there's wars and rumors of wars, something Christ warned about in Matthew 24;6,7 something we're going through right now! But during the Millennial reign, there won't be any war, only peace! Another thing is that the nations will gather to worship our Lord, offer sacrifices, and Jerusalem will be the main capital for both Israel and the world! The last thing is that it will be God's fulfilment to His people the Jews that Christ would sit on the throne of King David as mentioned in Luke 1;32 as Angel Gabriel prophesied to the Virgin Mary! It will be a joyous time for Israel and the body of Christ and the cool thing about it is that the devil won't be there during the Millennial reign! Here's the question, what will happen after the 1,000 Millennial reign is over? Well in the next blog and next week for my virtual Bible study, I'll read from the book of Revelations and discuss what will happen to Satan after the Millennial reign is over! But until then, this is what I wanted to share with you ladies. I know that stuff like this is rarely talked about in the body of Christ but I know it's something important to address since we're living in the end times. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to share another blog called "The Millennial Reign Part 1". Some of y'all maybe confused about this topic. For one this sadly isn't talked about in the body of Christ the way it should be as other end times topics! But regardless of that, this needs to be addressed. Let me discuss why this is important. Number one because the Bible talks about it! There's so much in the Bible that sadly pastors and Bible teachers don't talk about and the Bible has something to say about this topic! The second thing to note is the Millennial reign will occur right after the Second Coming of Christ something I discussed in the previous blog! After Christ tosses the Antichrist and False Prophet in the Lake of Fire, and destroys evil armies, things will change for the better in the world. The third thing is the Millennial reign will be Christ's physical kingdom on earth in Jerusalem! As Christians we know we're part of a "spiritual kingdom" which is true but know that during the Millennial reign on earth, it will be a physical kingdom! The fourth thing about the Millennial reign of Christ is that the saints will rule with Him! The saints from the Old Testament saints, Church Age saints, and saints who got saved during the seven year "Tribulation period" (That's the 144,000 Jewish Christians who led the Gentiles who got left behind to Christ who later died) will rule with King Jesus! The Bible mentions that in the book of Revelations 20:1-6 and I once heard a Christian say. "We're training for reigning" which is true! 2 Timothy 2:12 says "If we suffer with Christ we'll reign with Him". The fifth thing about the Millennial reign is that it's a promise that was mentioned in the Old Testament that Israel's kingdom will be eternal! Why will it be eternal? It's because of King Jesus! He's an earthly descendent from King David while at the same time the divine the Son of God! The sixth thing about the Millennial reign is that there will be no war only peace! Can y'all imagine a world like that? It's like everyday we hear about turmoil in the Middle East, our American troops and Israeli soldiers being in war! But during the Millennial reign, we will study war no more! The seventh thing about the Millennial reign is that Jerusalem will be the capital and Israel will be the superpower nation of the world! We know that right now the main predominate city in the world one of them is New York City, New York because America is the main superpower nation right now! But during the Millennial reign of Christ, all of that will change. Nations from the world will gather in Israel to exchange goods, worship the Lord, see and reverence King Jesus among other things! The eighth thing I want to share about the Millennial reign is that Satan will be in the bottomless pit during the entire Millennial reign! Whew! Revelations 20:1 talks about it and he won't be loosed until the Millennial reign is over! In another blog I'll address why must Satan be loosed and what will happen to non-Christians who didn't repent after the Millennial reign of Christ. I also addressed this somewhat for my virtual Bible study last week Sunday night and I'll be addressing it at my virtual Bible study tonight as well too. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. The title I have for this blog is called ''Christ's First Coming Vs Second Coming.'' This is a follow up blog contrasting the ''Rapture Vs Second Coming'' and the reason why I'm writing these blogs is because for my virtual Bible study on Sunday nights, since the first Sunday of October, we've been talking about the end times since we're towards the end of the year. Not only that, by God's grace I've been teaching on this subject for the past two years even though it's not popular among Christian circles like it used to be! (Side note, I thank God for sound pastors and Bible teachers who explained this subject to me growing up and God bringing understanding to me about this is why I can teach it and write blogs about it!) Anyhow going back to the topic, in this blog we'll be contrasting the differences between Christ's first coming and second coming. The first thing is when Jesus came the first time, He came as a Baby in a manger and we'll be celebrating that during Christmas time next month! His Second Coming on the contrast He'll be an adult! The second thing is when He came the first time, only some recognized Him and wanted to serve Him while on His Second Coming everyone even though who don't like Him will recognize Him! The third thing is during His first coming, He came to die as the Lamb of God while His Second Coming He'll come as a conquering Lion from the tribe of Judah! The fourth thing about His first coming is that He came to bring humility and meekness while at His Second Coming He'll come with boldness and authority! The fifth thing on Christ's first coming, He came as a humble Servant while during His Second Coming, He'll come back as King of kings and Lord of lords! The sixth thing is that on His first coming He came to bring salvation from sin for the Jews and for humanity while on His Second Coming He'll bring judgement to those who rejected The seventh thing is when Christ came the first time, he came to bring a spiritual kingdom, while during his second coming, he'll bring a physical Kingdom on Earth. The millennial reign for a thousand years in Israel. The eighth thing is the first time he came to heal the sick, cast out devils, die on the cross, rise again, and held the keys to the kingdom to overcome Satan. But Satan is still around. On the contrary, during the second coming of Christ, after Christ casts the Antichrist and the false prophet in the lake of fire and destroys wicked armies, He'll throw Satan into the bottomless pit for a thousand years during the millennial reign. Satan will not be released from the bottomless pit until the millennial reign is over. Ladies, you may wonder, what was that? Why is knowing about this stuff important? Prophecy isn't to scare us, but to empower us to know what to do before time and better live for Christ. My wise godfather always says to be forewarned is to be forearmed. And I so agree with that. Hi ladies it's me again, happy Lord's day, and happy first day of November! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. Oh my goodness! I can't believe we're almost to the end of the year! That's crazy isn't it? We just came off of pagan Halloween and Reformation Day (see the blog from last week!) the day before October 31st which is unreal! But anyhow we're continuing on with the end times series and we'll be talking about the Second Coming Of Christ. For those of you ladies that may or may not know, next month in December we'll be honoring the First Coming Of Christ that began when He was born in a Manger but ended when He was 33 years old after He ascended to heaven after died on the cross and rose again! In another blog I'll share about the contrast Christ's First Coming And Second Coming. But here in this blog I'll be contrasting the ''Rapture vs the Second Coming Of Christ'' because people often confuse the two. You ladies know that I take sound doctrine very seriously and don't want anyone to be confused about this topic. Another sad reality is not many pastors or Bible teachers address this subject which makes it all the more challenging because this used to be a topic of discussion in churches. But regardless of that, I share what the Lord has me to share. The first thing is that when the rapture happens, Christ will come in the air but the Second Coming Of Christ will be when Christ comes to the earth. The second thing is at the rapture Christ comes for His bride vs the Second Coming Christ comes with His bride. The third thing is that the rapture will be a time of blessing and comfort for Christians while the Second Coming Of Christ will be a time of judgement for the earth. The fourth thing about the rapture is that Christ will come at the end of the "Church Age" while the Second Coming Of Christ will occur after the seven year Tribulation period. The fifth thing is that the rapture is for Christians only while the Second Coming Of Christ will involve the entire world and Israel. The sixth thing is that the seven year Tribulation period will immediately occur after the rapture while the Millennial reign will happen immediately after the Second Coming Of Christ. The seventh thing is that after the rapture that Satan will be the ruler over the world vs after the Second Coming Of Christ, Satan will be put in a bottomless pit for the entire Millennial reign! (Side we will discuss more about the Millennial reign next week on what the Old and New Testament have to say about that as well!) Why are these disntcitons important? Because it's very easy to get these confused and it doesn't help that the body of Christ doesn't address this issue like they used to! If you ladies want to hear more about it, I will discuss this during my virtual Bible study tonight and I can't believe that we'll only have three more Sundays to discuss the end times. It's not my favorite but an important one that we need to address before the holidays come along! The other thing I want to say about these events whether it be the rapture or the Second Coming of Christ what will be the most exciting is that we Christians will get to participate in both of those events with our Lord, Savior, and King and we'll be with Him face to face at those events too! That's the most wonderful thing of all! That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm taking a slight break from the end times blog though I will write another one or more in the upcoming weeks. The title I have for the blog is called "Halloween Vs Reformation Day". Let me share why this matters. Both holidays are celebrated on October 31st which will be four days from now. Halloween was originally called "Hallows Eve" which was on November 1st but they changed the date to October 31st. They wore costumes to scare "evil spirits" away not knowing they were honoring witchcraft. The Bible warns against witchcraft and talking to the dead and Halloween encourages that! I don't like goblins, witches, vampires, bats, jacklaterns, or ghosts! The only ghost in my house is the Holy Ghost! Halloween is the devil's holiday and high holy day for Reformation Day on the contrast honors Martin Luther. Martin Luther was born in Germany and was raised a monk who got saved by reading the Scripture in the Bible Romans 1;17 ''The Just shall live by faith''. That Scripture gave him understanding that a Christian is justified by faith by the Lord not through works! He walked with the Lord ever since then, wrote the 95 thesis on the door of the Catholic Church, wrote a hymn called ''A Mighty Fortress Is Our God'' and Christmas carol ''Away In A Manger.'' Martin Luther also wrote five solas and they are Scripture alone, faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, and the glory of God alone. The other thing to remember is that people believed that confessing to the Roman Catholic priest, praying to saints, or being loyal to the Catholic Church made you right with God when Martin Luther taught the opposite of that. Not only that, Martin Luther also translated the Bible into German so that everyday people could read the Bible! How awesome is that? He also married Katherina Von Bora and had six children with one of them dying at infancy. Did Martin Luther have his issues? Yes he did, he struggled to get along with the Jews and he taught dreams weren't of God! (My beautiful godfather addressed that and we understand the Bible more today than what he did because the Bible is full of dreams!) But apart from those things, I believe that Martin Luther's legacy is to be honored and after his death, followers of Martin Luther were called ''Lutherans''. That was the first denomination that was Protestant outside of the Catholic or Jewish church! Also through him other Protestant movements took place and other denominations came such as Baptist, Seventh Day Adventist, Angolican, Presbyterian, Methodist, Nazarene, ''Church Of God In Christ'', ''Assemblies Of God'' came from the Protestant movement as well as ''Women's Warriors Academy'' too! Ladies, now that you know the history behind Halloween and Reformation Day what do you think a Christian should celebrate? In my opinion, I believe the Lord would want y'all to celebrate Reformation Day and not Halloween! Reformation Day honors the Christian faith while Halloween does the complete opposite that contradicts the Christian faith. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do nor how to live but if we Christians want to honor God we must value the things He values. Reformation Day honors the kingdom of light while Halloween glorifies the kingdom of darkness. I'm sure many of you will get ridiculed because of your stance but remember what Martin Luther did, he took a stand though it almost cost him his life. How much more does God want us Christians to stand for Him, for righteousness, and truth regardless of the cost? I also believe it's important to pray for parents who encourage their kids to celebrate Halloween as well as pray for Satanists to repent for that lifestyle, get saved, live for Christ, and come out of darkness! I believe that celebrating Halloween opens the door to the demonic while celebrating Reformation Day honors the Christian faith. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies, it's me again, and happy Lord's Day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "The Tribulation Part 2," where I'll address a world-renowned leader called the Antichrist! But there are a few things I want to address before I dive deep into that. In the previous blog, I shared what will happen to the people who are left behind after the Rapture. I shared what will happen to the Jews and Gentiles and how the world will try to process what happened to the "missing people." Who will the "missing people" be? Those people will be Christians from the "Church Age" and "Age of the Spirit" who will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, as the Bible says, both the living and dead saints! After that happens, people will search everywhere to find them but won't be able to because our Lord will take us away! Hallelujah to that! But right after that, 144,000 Jews will be saved and share the Gospel with the Gentiles who were left behind. Some will be saved, but sadly, others won't. Do you want to know why? Because God will allow the world to be under Satan's influence for seven years, and not only that, Satan will provoke a world leader to attempt to unite the world! Who will that world leader be? It will be the Antichrist! Now, let me be clear about something else. Let me tell you who the Antichrist is and who he's not. The Antichrist is not former President Barack Obama, former President Joe Biden, or President Donald Trump! Let me make that clear right away! I'm very sorry to say that many non-Christians and even what I call "so-called Christians" claim that a couple of former presidents and even our current president are the Antichrist, and they are not! Just because you don't like or agree with a leader doesn't mean you should call them the Antichrist! It sickens me that people say that! Not only that, people say those things out of maliciousness, gossip, and slander! Slander means saying something about someone to destroy their reputation. People like that need to repent, watch their mouths, and get under wise Bible teachers and pastors who understand the end times so they can learn to discern properly. Going back to the Antichrist, he appears good, but he is not a nice guy. He will pressure people to get the mark of the beast, 666, and people won't be able to buy or sell without it. Those who refuse the mark will be pursued, tormented, or killed by the Antichrist. This will impact the 144,000 Jewish Christians, the two witnesses, and those they lead to Christ during the Tribulation. They will be the most impacted by this. Jewish Christians will be able to escape the Antichrist, but the two witnesses and others will be killed by him. The Antichrist will likely come from the Middle East or Europe. His end, along with the false prophet's end, will come when Christ overthrows them and casts them into the lake of fire. Ladies, his end will not be pretty, but brutal. Any world leader who opposes Christ, both now and during the Tribulation period, will not win. They will lose. That's the bottom line! That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog and this is called ''The Tribulation Period Part 1''. I've been sharing about the end of the world, the rapture, end time movies, and the dating game. Now I'll share a not so favorite but needed topic that needs to be addressed. We know that the rapture is going to happen when Jesus comes in the air with the dead in Christ rising first and the living saints in the Church Age will be ''caught up'' within the clouds to meet Christ in the air like the Bible says! What a day that will be! When the rapture happens, that will be the end of the ''Church Age'', ''Age Of Grace'', and ''Age Of The Spirit''. You know how you read a book and you read one chapter at a time? With the close of one chapter begins a new chapter? Well after the rapture happens, the world will transition but in a not so positive way. You may think. ''What do you mean by that?'' Well do y'all remember the Christian film ''A Thief In The Night'' and remember 2000's Christian film ''Left Behind''? Remember when Christians and nonChristians were going about their day and then Christians left the earth? Imagine those who get left behind at the rapture! Neighbors will be looking for neighbors, co-workers looking for saved co-workers, husbands looking for wives and wives looking for their husbands. Parents looking for children, teachers looking for students and students who are teens and adults may look for teachers but not find them. People will search for many many pastors and folks will go to various cemeteries and look for dead bodies of Christians who physically died in the Lord but not find them! Why? Because Christ took the living and dead Christians home with Him at the rapture and that will cause confusion and chaos for the nonChristian! I know, right? Why will God allow the seven year Tribulation period to happen? First let's address why the number seven is important. Seven we know represents completion! We know there's seven days in a week and God rested on the seventh day just to name a couple of examples! The number seven is a prophetic and important number in the Bible. Again, why would God allow the seven year Tribulation period to happen on the earth? Number one because the world rejected His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. Romans 1;24,25 KJV says '''Wherefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their bodies among themselves. Who changed the truth of God for a lie and worshipped the creature instead of the Creator who is blessed forever amen. '' In other words there are people who heard about God but refused to give their lives to Him and to live His way. Isn't that what happened to Patty Myers in 1972's Christian film ''A Thief In The Night?'' She had every opportunity to give her life to Christ before the rapture and she got left behind. Even then, she still could have given her life to Christ but she didn't! Those who get left behind probably like Patty will remember the various opportunities they could have gotten saved before the rapture but they didn't. Missing loved ones and countless missing persons I know will greatly impact the world as I already mentioned. God gave the world 2,000 plus years to repent and sadly some people mocked the Lord. The second reason why the Tribulation period will happen is to inflict judgment on the earth. Ladies, we serve a just God don't we? Remember the various times throughout the Bible that God warned Israel and various groups of people about their choices and what consequences it would bring? I think about the flood during Noah's day, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, when the Jews were taken captive to Babylon, and the temple was destroyed in 70 AD just to name some. We know why those things happened because people rejected God and His ways! Because many lost or wayward folks mocked God and wouldn't repent, God will allow the seven year Tribulation period to happen to judge an unbelieving world. He will allow various plagues, famine, pestilence, sword, scarcity, and other things to humble nonChristians. The third reason why God will allow the seven year Tribulation period is to hand the world over to Satan! I know, right? I heard a wise man say. ''Whenever people reject the truth they're more prone to deception.'' That's a very true saying y'all! Because the world refused Christ and wouldn't listen to the conviction of the Holy Ghost, God will allow the world to be under Satan's rule for seven years. Ladies I don't know about y'all but that doesn't sound appealing at all to be living on the earth with Satan as the ruler. No way Jose! I'd rather press into serving Christ now so I can get out of here at the rapture and not be here being under Satan's rule on the earth! The fourth reason is that God will allow Satan to influence a wicked leader called the Antichrist (who likely will come from the MiddleEast or Europe) who will make a ''peace treaty'' with Israel but break it, cause nations of the world to ''unite'' with him, and provoke man to get the mark of the beast 666! People will like this guy, follow him, think he's the ''real Jesus'' when he's not, and no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark! God will allow the Antichrist to rule the world for seven years along with Satan but in the end he will be destroyed. The fifth reason why God will allow the seven year Tribulation period to happen will be for God to get the nation of Israel's attention and for her to get saved. You ladies know that when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was on the earth 2,000 plus years ago, the Jews rejected Him right? Well as soon as the rapture concludes, the book of Revelations chapters 7 and 14 talk about the 144,000 Jews will come from Israel and get saved! I don't know how that will happen but they will get saved and they will be commissioned to share the gospel of Christ to the Gentile non-believers who got left behind! They will lead many of them to accept Christ as Lord and Savior though it will be a very risky thing for all of them to live for Christ during the seven year Tribulation period. I'll share more in part 2 what additional craziness will go on during the seven year Tribulation period and why it's best to get saved and serve the Lord now and not wait for the Tribulation period to do it! Ladies it's important for us to pray for our loved ones that are either unsaved or backslidden (those that once walked with Christ but drifted away from Him) to get right with God now during the ''Church Age'', ''Age Of Grace'', or ''Age Of The Spirit'' not during the seven year Tribulation period! Do you ladies know that in many foreign countries many Christians have ''to go to church underground'' and not be able to have public church services? Well I'm sure during the seven year Tribulation period, the 144,000 Jewish Christians and those they lead to Christ will probably have to do that among other things! I want to make the most of my time living out my faith boldy now when I can than to be in greater danger then! We must also pray and fight for our religious freedom now as Christian Americans because religious freedom will not be a factor during the seven year Tribulation period! That's something to think about. The number six reason is for the 144,000 Jews and those they lead to Christ to stay on the straight and narrow road and push their loyalty to Christ during the worst time in history. Ladies let me say this. You know in our time right now you know there are people who claim to be Christians but you can't tell with their lifestyle? Or someone is a Christian in name only? Well during the seven year Tribulation period it will be very obvious those who are truly serving the Lord and those who don't! Just by refusing the mark of the beast will identify those who are Christians because once a person takes the mark of the beast, they cannot be saved! The Antichrist is going to make life difficult for the 144,000 Jewish Christians and those they lead to Christ during that time y'all! God will allow that to happen to see who the Jewish Christians and those they lead to Christ will be loyal to God or to the Antichrist! The seventh and final reason for the Tribulation period is a fulfillment for the prophetic time clock for the 70th week prophesied in the book of Daniel!. Those are the things I wanted to share with you ladies. This isn't my favorite topic but one that needs to be addressed and I'll address some more during part 2 in this blog. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well.I'm happy to present another blog called ''The Dating Game''. Let me be clear what this is not. This is not about romance at all though I'm sure there are shows that are about ''the dating game.'' But this is an entirely different blog. This blog is about people in the past who have made ''dates for the rapture''! I know, right? Let's share some examples here. There's a few examples that I think about. A guy by the name of Edgar Whisenant (born 1932 died in 20021) made a prediction that the rapture would happen in 1988! He predicted that the rapture and World 3 would occur during Roshannah (a Jewish holiday) between September 11th through September 13th 1988! (Side note 13 years later on September 11th 2001, something tragic did happen with the destruction of the towers which was a national emergency! This year, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of September 11th on the first day of the Jewish holiday Roshannah!) Not only that, he wrote a book called ''88 Reasons Why The Rapture Will Be In 1988''! You know what? Tons of people bought the book and it wound up selling 30,000 plus copies! That's crazy y'all! Yet that took place 38 years ago since that time and we're still here! Another example that I think of is a guy by the name of Harold Camping. (He was born in 1921 but died in 2013) He made quite a few predictions with the first one back in September 1994 and revised it to October! For those of you that don't know the year 1994 was when I was born! Of course 32 years have come and gone and we're still here! He made another prediction that the rapture would happen on May 21st 2011! I was a teenager by that point, I was a Christian for six years, and I remember that day like it was yesterday! I was seventeen years old at the time, in youth group at my former church, and May 21st was my former youth pastor's birthday! That Sunday, which happened to be May 15th, my former senior pastor preached about the dangers of ''The Dating Game'' and believed Christ could fool us and come that night! Not only that, me, my siblings, and my parents were babysitting my little cousins that week as well too. That day came and went and boy Christians all over social media were talking like crazy. Thank goodness most Christians not just from my former church but from other denominations said only the Father knows when Jesus will come back! Thank goodness I was also learning about the end times such as the rapture, the seven year Tribulation period, second coming of Christ, Millennial reign etc which kept me from all that deception. Frm that moment on, I used to joke to my former youth pastor, was it the end of the world on his birthday! Isn't that insane? Then he predicted that October 21st 2011 that the end of the world occurred. Not when he did those things, atheists and Christians from other denominations rebuked him pretty sternly claiming him doing that was a bad witness to Christianity which I completely agree with! But then there were years of silence from that time on until last year when a pastor from South Africa named Joshua Mhekela predicted that the rapture would happen from September 23rd to September 24th during the Jewish holiday of Roshannah! Here we go again with the Jewish holiday Roshannah! (Side note I don't have a problem with that holiday at all since I've been honoring it since 2020. The problem is making a prediction during that time.) Then he revised it to October of last year, shared it on social media, and sadly prompted those who followed his ministry to quit jobs, sell possessions, and sell cars! The year 2025 has come and gone and we're now to the year 2026! Ladies, why am I sharing these things? If you hear someone ''predict a rapture date'' please do not listen to them! As a matter of fact I would boldly call them a ''false teacher''! I don't really like to use that verbiage but when it comes to stuff like that, we need to address it! As a matter of fact, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ stated in Matthew 24;36 says ''But about that day no one knows not the angels in heaven, nor the Son but by My Father only.'' 2 Peter 3;9 the Holy Spirit spoke through the Apostle Peter said. ''The Father isn't slow to keeping His promise as some think. But rather He is patient and wants none to perish but all to come to repentance.'' So if someone makes a rapture prediction or what I call ''the dating game'', they are out of order and they are clearly disobeying the Bible! People who do that also need to repent because they're ignoring the words of our Lord and Savior! Now does that mean we should live careless, do whatever we want, and be foolish like the five foolish virgins? No of course not! As a matter of fact, we should be like the five wise virgins that I previously shared in a previous blogs with oil in our lamps preparing for the Bridegroom with the oil of the Holy Ghost! But then there's another group who sadly teach there is no rapture and they too are out of order and they need to repent as well too! That's why it's so important to draw closer to the Lord in prayer each day and know the Word of God for yourself! The teaching of the rapture is important as I shared in a previous blog because we Christians need to be ready when the Son of Man comes! But He made it clear only the Father knows so people should never make rapture predictions because I know in the end, the Father and Jesus will get them severely for doing that! Also be watchful for those who teach there's no rapture at all and the Father and Jesus will get them for that as well too! I'm just keeping it real! Another important factor to consider is that another reason predicting the rapture not only disobeys the Bible and discourages Christians, it's also making a false prediction of the seven year Tribulation period! Because right when the rapture of the saints happens, the seven year Tribulation period will happen shortly after. Right after the rapture happens, the judgment of God will hit the earth! Those who make false rapture predictions, are making false predictions of the seven year Tribulation period! Am I saying we shouldn't be concerned about the seven year Tribulation period? Absolutely not! In fact in the next couple of blogs I'll address it and share the truth of what the Bible has to say about that! But ladies, I'm making a point here. Solid doctrine is important especially when it comes to this topic! In fact the Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul warned in 2 Timothy 4;3 ''For a time will come when people won't endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall heap themselves teachers having itching ears.'' That is very serious ladies especially these days. This blog will be one of my last talks addressing the rapture unless the Holy Spirit has me address it again because the next two blogs will address what the seven year Tribulation period will be like! I also will address the seven year Tribulation period tonight at my virtual Bible study and next week Sunday night as well too and share what the Bible has to say about it! Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "Christian End Time Movies". You ladies might be thinking. "Why write a blog about Christian end times movies? Well for one I grew up watching them and number two they are relevant for today. These movies used to annoy the daylights out of me but I'm thankful I grew up watching them because it motivated me to some extent to make my faith my own as well as think about Christ's coming. (Of course I got to hear sermons about that too from my former pastor and many of you ladies know who I'm talking about too lol!) The first Christian film I grew up watching was 1972's movie called "A Thief In The Night" starring Patty Dunning. I don't know if you ladies remember at the beginning of the movie there was an alarm clock ticking loudly! Everytime I hear that alarm clock ticking it makes my heart skip beats! For those who haven't seen it you can watch it on YouTube for free and check it out. The purpose of that Christian film was Patty who was a "church girl" all her life but procrastinated in giving her life to Christ. How many of you ladies heard the old saying. "Going to church doesn't make you a Christian less going to a garage make you a car?" That's a very true saying that you can go to church all your life and not have a true relationship with the Lord! That was true with Patty in this film and to make matters crazier, many of her loved ones (including her husband Jim) and friends had a relationship with the Lord but she ignored them. Her saved loved ones warned her if she didn't get saved before the rapture, she'd get left behind which she did! The movie follows up in the 1978 Christian film "A Distant Thunder" (Y'all also can watch it on YouTube as well too) where Patty meets some new friends while keeping a couple of her old friends who were non-believers (Jerry and his wife Diane) while they have to endure the seven year Tribulation period. One of her friends does become a Christian and is later martyred for it while Patty continues to blame God for her issues before she later died in "Image Of The Beast" in 1981! How tragic her ending! Another Christian film that comes to mind is 1999 "The Moment After" starring David AR White. Many of you ladies may know that name because he was in the "God's Not Dead" series. David AR White played one former FBI agent asking people what happened to people who disappeared and went to heaven. Later Adam Riley (the guy that David AR White played) had a decision to make to either reject Christ or accept Him during the Tribulation period. Well he accepted Christ though he lost his job, reputation, and arrested for it. Another movie that comes to mind is 2000's "Left Behind" starring Kirk Cameron. He plays a guy named Buck Williams a well known reporter who knows a guy who's a pilot named Rayford Steele having an affair with flight attendant named Hattie Burham (played by Chelsea Noble Kirk Cameron's wife) but is married to his wife Irene who's a Christian and they have a daughter named Chloe and a son named Rainey. Life goes on as usual but one day people are missing and folks realize the people missing are Christians. Some are kids others are adults, some were missing from the airplane, other drivers were missing, family members, and the list goes on and on! Ladies why am I sharing about these movies? They maybe old but they have relevance today. These movies aren't my favorite but it's a good reminder to be aware that the rapture can happen in any moment and for us to be ready. Because after the rapture will be the end of the "Church Age"; and transition to the seven year Tribulation period which I'll discuss in another blog to come.
