Debrah Story Dedicated To Damita Chandler

Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. The title of my blog is called "Debrah Story Dedicated To Damita Chandler". You might be thinking there's no connection between my fictional character has no connection with a real character. In this blog I'm gonna prove y'all wrong and show there's connections and differences between characters. Damita Chandler was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, born in 1971, and is a identical twin! She was born into a musical and raised as a pastors kid! (Sound familiar?) Well she sang at a young age with her twin sister and gave their lives to Christ at a young age. But get this ladies. In 1988 when she was about seventeen years old, she met another Christian, teenager, pastors kid, and gifted singer named Deitrick Haddon! (Side note Deitrick was also born and raised in Detroit, Michigan but was born in 1973 and grew up in a similar household as Damita.) Damita and Deitrick dated for a total of seven years from 1988 until 1995 and didn't get engaged and married until 1996! Wow! As they continued to date, Damita graduated from high school and joined gospel stage play called "Mama Do" and toured with R&B and gospel artists. After that she sang backup vocals for other artists prior to her, her twin sister Marguita, and a couple other gals who created a group called "Adoration N Prayze". They auditioned and sang at a birthday party and got signed to a record deal! How wild is that? They later released one album and began to gain notoriety in the gospel music industry as well as impact lives for the gospel of Christ. Eventually the band disbanded and Damita joined with her then boyfriend Deitrick and they had a choir called "Voices Of Unity" and in 1994 signed a record deal with Tyscot records. Then a year later in 1995, Deitrick and the "Voices Of Unity" released their debut album called "Come Into This House" and Damita became a minister of music at Deitrick's parents church. By that time their relationship became serious enough that in 1996 they got engaged and married and were married for sixteen years until they divorced in 2012. Eventually the "Voices Of Unity" disbanded but Damita and Deitrick became solo artists while married and became household names. They toured together and pastored at different churches as associates before co-pastoring Deitrick's stepdad's church Bishop Clarence. Also Damita and Deitrick had infertility struggles so they were unable to have children which would cause problems down the line in their marriage. Deitrick released several solo albums while Damita only had a couple of albums while they were married and things drastically changed in 2011. Fifteen years to Damita and Deitrick's marriage, Deitrick released "Church On The Moon" which was successful but behind closed doors there was a affair that began to unravel. Damita didn't know about the affair until after her mom died and went to heaven that Deitrick who should have comforted her abandoned her and his church to be with the woman he had an affair with! (Deitrick moved to Los Angeles, California while Damita moved back to Atlanta, Georgia.) Damita stepped down from the church and she and Deitrick were separated for a year and two months prior to their divorce in August 2012! In 2012 Damita released another album called "Anticipation" while Deitrick started a family with the lady he had an affair with! The following year in 2013 Deitrick got engaged and remarried to a woman named Dominique, started a church in California, started in "Preachers Of LA" show, and released another album. That was the same year that Damita reunited with a old friend of her and Deitrick named Reuben Chandler. Reuben was a US veteran later turned minister and was married to his first wife from 1993 until their divorce in 2007. Reuben and his first wife met Damita and Deitrick in 1998 at Pastor Paula White's church. Reuben was married for five years and Damita married for two years when they met and they and their spouses were good friends. But in 2000, Damita and Deitrick year four in their marriage left that church to move to Atlanta, Georgia and eventually move back to Detroit, Michigan while Reuben and his first wife remained on staff there until their divorce in 2007. Reuben eventually moved to Alabama and continued life as a photographer and would be divorced for six years prior to reuniting with Damita in 2013! They met at a family picnic in June 2013 and had a long distance courtship that lasted for five months from June through November 2013. None of them were looking for love but it happened simultaneously and in December Reuben asked Damita's dad to marry her and they got engaged. When Deitrick enjoyed his new marriage and second child in 2014, Damita announced her engagement and she married Reuben in May 2014! Pastor and gospel artist Donnie Mcclurkin officiated the wedding and it was beautiful to see two divorcees reunite and promise to be loyal to each other for the rest of their lives. Wow! You might be thinking what does this have to do with my Debrah story? Well Debrah was raised a pastor's kid, sang in church, and got saved young. She was in a six member Dove award Contemporary Christian group called "The Tribe Of Issachar" before getting married and like Damita she got married at 25 to her first husband David Harris! (Deitrick Haddon and David were 23 years old when they married their first wives!) Debrah and David were a musical duo from 1998 until 2012 and were married for sixteen years like Damita and Deitrick were prior to their divorce. Debrah and David were household names, pastored, and had issues with infertility similar to Damita and Deitrick. Year fifteen in Debrah's first marriage, they released their last album "City On A Hill" similar to Deitrick Haddon's "Church On The Moon". Also David committed infidelity that forced him to step down from being senior pastor and replaced by his friend Pastor Darryl Hayes to be senior pastor. Debrah joined her parents church in Florida on staff for the remainder of the story while David relocated to Texas and was on staff at his parents church for only two years. While separated Debrah learned that David got a young woman pregnant whose child was due the same year of their divorce! The same year of Debrah and David's divorce, Debrah became a solo artist and a author. Debrah also reunited at her parents church an old friend she knew thirteen to fifteen years ago a Christian black guy named Rudy Carson Sr. He knew her and David from 1998 until 2000 and they knew Valentina a young childless Christian widow. (She was married to Enrique from 1994 until 1997 until he died as a soldier and Christian on battlefield and went to heaven!) In 2000 after Rudy and Valentina got married, (Debrah and David sang at their wedding) they moved to Michigan, attended a different church, and had three kids together two sons and a daughter. While there Valentina was diagnosed with cancer and Rudy and folks did their best to help her deal with it, (medicine, chemotherapy, hospital stays, and prayers) and attended Bible college. But in 2012, Valentina at forty years old died of cancer and went to heaven reunited with her first husband and worshipped the Lord in heaven. A year after that, Rudy finished Bible college along with his folks, moved to Florida, and reunited as friends! Rudy quit his engineering job to be associate pastor, studio engineer, and Debrah's manager! (His parents quit their jobs to be associate pastors and helped raise his kids.) The following year, David got engaged and remarried to Diana, left his folks church, and started his own. (Someone else replaced him as associate pastor.) He became a solo artist, author, and Diana quit regular job to be associate pastor, life coach, and his manager. Debrah and Rudy friendship became romantic and the following year they got engaged and remarried as well as blended a family. (David and Diana would also have their second child that same year!) Later in the story Debrah and David rekindled their friendship and did a reunion concert at the end! I know this blog was a bit long but that's where I got the idea to do Debrah's story. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "Thanksgiving Holiday History". I know many of us will be celebrating Thanksgiving holiday in two days but how many people know the history behind it? Well as I prayed and did much research I was surprised what information I found about the history of Thanksgiving holiday. The first Thanksgiving holiday took place in 1621 the same year that the Pilgrims arrived in America. Many of us know that the Pilgrims were Christians who lived in England but left England because they wanted the freedom to worship God however they wanted. They sailed on the Mayflower on the Atlantic Ocean and after a long voyage and tumultuous travel they made it to America! Because of that, their hearts were full of gratitude and along with the Indians they had a three day feast with shellfish, turkey, and various foods being thankful the Pilgrims made it to America safely. Yes ladies that's right it started off as a three day holiday not just a one day holiday! It wouldn't be until President Abraham Lincoln in 1863 declared it as a national holiday and it's been celebrated nationally since then. But it wouldn't be until 1941 that President Franklin D Roosevelt (President during the Great Depression and World War 2) that he signed an order for Thanksgiving holiday to be on the fourth Thursday of November each and every year. Wow! Ladies it started with the Pilgrims in 1621 and then two Presidents felt it was important to make it a national holiday. Here's the thing ladies. We all should be thankful all throughout the year right? Of course I know I can get better at that. However, Thanksgiving holiday is a wonderful time to pause and remember what happened this past year or possibly past week to remember God's faithfulness. In fact the Bible says in Psalm 103 to forget not God's benefits. What benefits is the Psalmist talking about? Well things like our sins being forgiven, our bodies being healed, God crowning us with love and compassion, God renewing our youth like the eagles, and God satisfying our mouth with good things. When I think of God satisfying our mouth with good things I think about the delicious food that I'll help make and get to eat on Thanksgiving holiday! I'm sure you ladies maybe thinking about that as well too. When I used to help out in Sunday school for the kindergartens at my former church "Discover Church" (I currently am a member at "New Life Assembly Of God Church") me and my assistant teacher used to ask kids what they were thankful for after the Bible lesson! Kids would have to say they were thankful for family, vacation, a toy, their clothes etc. I didn't think much about it at the time but it was teaching kids early to find small or big things to be thankful for. Well ladies if a child can and should do that how much more should we adults find things big and small to be thankful for? I know that's easier said than done since I sense some of y'all had a great year, others had a challenging year, or others had a somewhat in between year. The Bible reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says "In all things give thanks. This is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you". So ladies as y'all and I prepare to host guests or y'all plan to celebrate at someone else's house, enjoy time with loved ones, a day off, and enjoy great food. But never forget to remember the history of Thanksgiving holiday and remember to be thankful throughout the year. This is something I have to get better at too and sometimes I have to think a bit what I'm thankful for. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. The title I have for the blog is called "The One Leper Who Thanked Jesus". This story here comes from the gospel of Luke 17:11-19 where Jesus was heading towards Jerusalem and as He went, He saw ten lepers standing alone. There were nine Jewish men and one Samaritan that were in isolation. I know right? Why? It's because leprosy was extremely contagious and sores broke out all over their bodies and they had to shout to people "Unclean unclean!" They couldn't see loved ones and to make matters worse they sometimes lost body parts! Whew! Those men were terribly sick and likely felt lonely. But when they saw Jesus they from a distance cried out. "Master please help us!" I'm sure when they said that they cried from the depths of their hearts sort of what I call "desperate prayers". We've all been there right? Well Jesus was moved with compassion and though He didn't touch them He told them to show themselves to the priests! That was a ancient practice if a leper wanted to go back to community they had to go to the priests to make sure it was safe enough for them to do so. That's what Christ was telling them to do. Get this ladies the men still had leprosy when Christ told them to go but thankfully they walked on anyway. Talk about walking in faith when it looked foolish! As the men walked along gradually their sores disappeared! Wow! Yet the Bible says only one came back to thank Jesus while the rest of the men walked on. Who was the one man? A Samaritan someone that the Jews considered to be a "half breed" half Jew and half Gentile. (Remember the Samaritan woman mentioned in John 4? In our day it be biracial people half black and half white.) Don't forget Jews were very racist against Samaritan's back then which shows racism isn't new. But anyhow the Samaritan man fell down before Jesus and thanked Him. Jesus was puzzled and said. "Where are the other nine? Yet none of them came back to thank Me except this Samaritan. Go your faith has made you whole". Wow! Only one came back to thank Jesus! Man what a lesson for us today. How many times have I prayed and you ladies have prayed and how many times has God answered prayers but sometimes we forget to thank the Lord? That's why I wrote the previous blog for you ladies sake but also to show God my thankfulness. This is something all of us need to get better at. In Psalm 103 reminds us to forget not God's benefits such as God forgiving our sins , (That happened on Calvary) healed our sickness, renews our youth as eagles, crowns us with love and compassion, and satisfies our mouth with good things. (I'm sure all of us will be saying that when we eat good food on Thanksgiving holiday four days from now!) The Bible reminds us to never forget what God has done for us. I believe that's why God left this story in the Bible on record not for His sake but for our sake. We must never forget His love, salvation, provision, and His goodness in our lives. That's why I love the song "The Goodness Of God" by "Bethel" and Cece Winans a song many of you know. I pray as you ladies go about this week you as well as I remember how good God's been to us as well as us thanking God. I'll be sharing more about that during Bible study tonight for it to be a "kick off" for Thanksgiving holiday for this week so be there. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. Im happy to present another blog called "My Day As A Vendor". Y'all maybe wondering what's that about? Well let me start with this. I've been a vendor at a Christmas Tea the past two years at "Evangel Assembly Of God Church". Get this ladies. I don't attend there nor am I a member there because as I stated in a blog earlier this year I've been attending "New Life Assembly Of God Church" the past five years and have been a member there for the past four years. (I attended "Discover Church" when I waa nine years old from 2003 until I was 26 years old in 2020 and was a member there when I was nineteen years old from 2013 until 2020. I also attended a Bible-based/Spirit-filled non-denominational church called "Capital Christian Center Church" when I was a baby until I was eight years old in 2002.) But one of the ladies that attends there used to attend and was a member of "Discover Church" with me and she was my Sunday school teacher too! That's how we have the connection and she comes to my virtual prayer meetings often! Anyhow I was a vendor at "Evangel Assembly Of God Church" in 2023, 2024, and again this year at the Christmas Tea.(The Christmas Tea is a annual women's event that both "Evangel Assembly Of God Church" and "Discover Church" host every year in November for women of God to gather together, decorate nice tables, fellowship, a lovely message, and food before the business of Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I used to go to the Christmas Tea at "Discover Church" years ago.) I believe in 2023 I sold maybe two items and maybe sold two or three items back in 2024. But by God's grace this year things were different. I used my "20 Day Christmas Devotional" and my "Debrah" novel this year along with old Christmas decorations, and some cds! Well I sold three books, (Two Christmas devotionals and one Debrah novel) three Christmas decorations, and two cds! That's a total of eight items sold more than 2023 and 2024 combined! To top it off, the senior pastor of "Evangel Assembly Of God Church" requested to buy a book and my first book "Strength For Enduring Adversity" was used as a door prize! I also gave a grandmother a flyer for my kid/teen club as well too. I give thanks and praise to God for that. I asked many Christians to pray for me concerning this event because I went to another outing on Monday (five days before that on November 10th) and it didn't go the way i planned though I asked people to pray. (I won't get into detail what that was about.) I look at me being a vendor the second event of this past week was God giving me another chance and not only that, I got to eat great food, enjoy a wonderful message, and fellowship with incredible women there too. I also got to see other women who used to attend "Discover Church", see my former Christian therapist, (I see a different one) and make new connections. All I can say is the Lord did what Ephesians 3:20 says "Exceedingly abundantly over what we can ask, think, or imagine". Do I plan to be a vendor next year? Well we'll see and I pray to get speaking engagements as well too. I'm in the process of working on a fourth book and I'll reveal more to y'all when it's finished and write a blog about it! For those that have prayed for me about this event thank you and keep the prayers coming! That's especially true cause there's still things I'm working through and there's always something to pray about! Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. The title I have for this blog is called ''The New Heavens And The New Earth'' . This is the conclusion of my End times blog until next year! I know, right? Throughout my blog series and throughout my Bible study in this past October until tonight the third Sunday of November I've been writing blogs and doing virtual Bible study that talked about the rapture and the seven year tribulation period. On the first Sunday of November, I talked about the Second Coming of Christ and last week (in the previous blog) I talked about Christ ruling and reigning with the saints in the Millennial reign that will last for 1,000 years! Christ and the saints will reign and rule in Jerusalem, the world being at peace, and the devil being locked in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years! Before I mention about the new heavens and the earth, what will happen to Satan and those who don't know Jesus as Lord and Savior? Well the book of Revelations 20 talks about how the devil will be loosed for a season after the Millennial reign and sadly many people will turn away from the Lord to follow the devil to start a rebellion! I know, right? That also should be an example: just because there's a perfect world and perfect environment doesn't mean a person's heart is genuine before the Lord and after the Millennial reign will show whose hearts were genuine towards the Lord. Another point is that a perfect environment doesn't guarantee a person's heart will change towards salvation either. (Lucifer lived in glory all the time but he still fell and became Satan before the beginning of time!) The Great White throne judgment will occur and the lost and prodigals who never came back to Christ will stand before God and sadly will be tossed over to the Lake of Fire where the Antichrist and false prophet already have been! What's going to happen to the devil and his demons? After the lost are in the Lake of fire so will the devil and demons be cast into the Lake of fire for all eternity! Whew! What will happen to folks who loved the Lord and were faithful to Him until the end? Well Revelations 22 mentioned that John the Revelator saw a new heaven and new earth! Heaven and earth will be renovated and merged together! Prior to that, heaven and earth were separate places but at the end they will become one! The Old Testament saints, New Testament saints, (People in the Apostle Peter, John the Revelator, and the Apostle Paul's generation) Church Age saints, (Christians after the times of the Apostles and after the first century) tribulation saints, (the 144,000 Jewish Christians and those they led to Christ during the tribulation period who were martyred) and Millennial saints (folks who got saved and stayed loyal to the Lord before and after the Millennial reign) will be gathered in front of the Father, the Lamb, and the Holy Ghost for all eternity. There shall be no more death, crying, or pain, no sun, moon, or stars because the Lamb will be our light. We'll also never be old anymore, our bodies will never decay, no sin, no devil to worry about anymore. We'll be worshipping the Lord, fellowshipping with each other, reigning with the Lord, and working for the Lord for all eternity! The Millennial reign will be the ''front porch'' what it will be like to live in the New Heavens and New Earth! Why do we think we Christians may be going through alot in our walk with Christ now? In 2 Timothy 2;12 says ''If we suffer with Christ we will reign with Christ.'' Simply put our lives on earth as Christians is ''training for reigning'' for the Millennial reign and for all eternity. Our lives on earth as Christians is also about us allowing the Holy Spirit to refine us down here so we can be ready for what's to come later. I've heard someone say. ''Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.'' That's a very true saying. The late Dr Billy Graham said. ''Our lives on earth are but a dressing room for eternity''. That's also very true. Let us pray that we as God's people and His daughters live in the way we're supposed to live so that one day we can hear from the Lord. ''Well done, good and faithful servant'' and not only that, being prepared for eternity. Let's also pray as many souls come to Christ and for prodigals to rededicate their lives back to Christ so they can join us and the Lord for all eternity as well too. Tonight is the last night I got to share this in my virtual Bible study until I mention it again next year! That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "Dealing With The Waiting Season". Let's be honest. How many of us like to wait? Do you remember when you were a kid and it felt like waiting for Christmas took forever? (It feels like time flies by when you're an adult and it feels like Christmas sneaks up on you lol!) Do you also remember as a child how badly you wanted to open your Christmas gifts but your parents or caregivers said you had to wait? We all remember that feeling right? But when you opened your Christmas gifts it was at the perfect time wasn't it? It was worth the wait. Ladies there are examples in the Bible that people had to wait. What about Adam and Eve? What were they waiting on? We all know that Adam and Eve sinned that the world, their relationship with each other, and their relationship with the Lord was turned upside down for the worst but God made them a promise. God promised them in Genesis 3:15 that the seed of the woman would crush the head of the serpent! Who does the serpent represent? The devil of course. Who does the seed of the woman represent? Of course it's talking about our Lord! But here's what's interesting about it. I'm sure that Adam and Eve expected that to happen soon or even their lifetime but it didn't happen until thousands of years later! What about Sarah and Abraham? We all know that story don't we and we know that they waited for 25 years until they had the promise of having Isaac. Abraham was 75 and Sarah was 65 when they got saved and left their homeland and they had to wait over twenty years for the birth of Issac came to pass. They kept trusting the Lord even though they were infertile and despite their age! What about Joseph in the Old Testament? We know his story. He told his dreams his brothers got jealous, he worked as a slave for sometime and was put in prison unjustly for a time. Not only that, he had to work in prison is how he met the butler and the baker by interpreting their dreams. Then eventually he interpreted Pharaoh's dream, got married to Asneth, and became prime minister of Egypt! But it wouldn't be until the seven years of plenty went by then the seven year famine that Joseph helped his brothers and the world during the famine! He was seventeen years old when he had the dream but he was 37 years old during the time of the famine! Another example was Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and Magi along with the rest of Israel waited for the promise of the Messiah to come for a long time but Christ came in due time! Ladies, what are you waiting on? An open door? Answered prayer? For divine turn around? Unsaved loved one to get saved? The sick to be healed? Ladies there are many things that I'm waiting on, prayers being answered, for divine turn around, among other things! We must pray while we wait, stand on the promises of God's Word while we wait, and even worship while we wait. That's not easy by any means but something we must learn to do. The Bible says in Isaiah 40;30,31 ''Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fail. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and shall not faint.'' Waiting is never easy by any means but that's a part of life. We must rely on the Lord to give us grace during those times as well too. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Blessings to each of you ladies and have a blessed week everyone.
Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "The Millennial Reign Of Christ". You might be thinking "So what big deal?" Here's something important for us ladies to understand. When Jesus came at His first coming (we'll celebrate Christmas after Thanksgiving holiday) did the Jews understand why He came? Of course they didn't! Christ came at His first coming came to be born in Bethlehem on Christmas Day, to live a sinless life, to do miracles and preach, to die on the cross on Good Friday and rise again on Easter Sunday! Alot of y'all maybe thinking. "Dugh!" We know that but the Jews didn't know that! They expected Jesus to ride the streets of Jerusalem on a horse to overthrow wicked Rome and set up His kingdom on earth right then and there! Christ knew that would come in the future but the timing of that wasn't time! He knew at that time He needed to come to earth to save mankind from sin and bring us back in right fellowship with the Father first and foremost and had to trust His Father's timing! Remember one previous blog I wrote about when Jesus comes at His Second Coming that He'll ride on a horse with the raptured saints in heaven to overthrow the Anti-Christ, false prophet, and wicked armies? That's mentioned in the book of Revelations 19:11-21 and after the battle of Armageddon Christ then will set up the Millennial reign! But before He does that He'll raise back to life the Old Testament saints and Christians that the Jewish Christians (144,000 mentioned in the book of Revelations) led to Christ during the tribulation period who were martyred! After those saints get resurrected bodies (Side note the raptured saints will already have a resurrected body that they got during the rapture) the Millennial reign will begin! How long will the Millennial reign last? It will last for 1,000 years with Christ ruling along with the raptured saints, Old Testament saints, and saints who got saved during the tribulation period! The book of Revelations 20 mentioned that an angel from heaven will come down and put the devil in the bottomless pit during the Millennial reign so he has no more influence on the world by that point. Christ will rule the nations with a rod of iron and Jerusalem will be the capital city of the world! That's why it's so important for us God's people to stand with Israel because one day during the Millennial reign it's going to be required of the nations of the world to meet up in Jerusalem. The other thing about the Millennial reign according to Isaiah 11:6-8 that the lion will lie down with the lamb, that a child will be able to play with a snake! Now we know in the animal kingdom if you mess with a lion or with a snake they'll bite you or worse eat you alive! The reason why is because since the fall of man, it not only impacted our relationship with the Lord and each other negatively, (which is why the cross had to happen in the first place) impacted nature with natural disasters, people getting sick and dying, and poverty happening but the fall negatively impacted the animal kingdom. But during the Millennial reign, the animal kingdom will be completely harmless! Also there will be no more injustice because we serve a just God and if the people outwardly rebel against the Lord they'll die prematurely! But get this ladies during the Millennial reign, people on earth will live to be nine hundred and something years old! Many of us know in the Old Testament Methuselah lived to be 969 years old and his father was Enoch and Methuselah's grandson was Noah who built the ark! People on earth who submit to Christ will be able to live as long as Methuselah or more and those who rebel will die prematurely at age 100! Dying at 100 is a big deal right now and dying under sixty years old is considered dying prematurely but during the Millennial reign dying at 100 will be prematurely! Plus there will be no more war and people will destroy their weapons and because of Jesus ruling there will peace on earth! Remember when I mentioned in a blog last month that the seven year tribulation period that the world for seven years will be under Satan and the Anti-Christ which will be hell on earth? Well the Millennial reign will be like heaven in earth and Eden restored! Before the fall of man the Garden of Eden was heaven on earth but we know that when Adam and Eve sinned, they no longer could remain at the Garden of Eden. We know that the world got turned upsidedown for the worst after the fall of man. The Millennial reign will be the fulfillment of the Messiah establishing an earthly kingdom while Christ enabling us as the body of Christ to rule and reign with Him during that time! Plus if people are sick Christ will heal them right then and there and there will be no more poverty! I heard someone rightfully say. "The saints right now are being trained to one day reign". That's a very true saying y'all. Those of us who are in Christ have much to look forward to both now and in the future! You might wonder, what's going to happen to the devil when the Millennial reign is over? Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm sharing another blog and I'm going to switch gears from talking about the End times and talking about a sad event. The title of this blog is called "Pray For The Victims Of Hurricane Melissa". I know right? Reporters say that the storm formed around October 21st and it progressively became worse October 25th through the 27th. To make matters worse, this "Hurricane Melissa" has affected several countries such as Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Haiti! Whew! There has been severe flooding in both Cuba and the Dominican Republic and the water systems have been greatly affected. To make matters challenging, many of those people have lost electricity. I know how scary it is to have the electricity to go out because that happened a few months ago in August when we in Southeastern Wisconsin had severe flooding the worst since 2010 when me and several families had flooding and no power until 10:30 at night! (My mom had to use candles in the house and dad and I had to use flashlights on our cell phones to see in the house!) How many people have died in the midst of the hurricane? In Dominican Republic it's reported that four people died and a child went missing, in Panama it's reported that three people have died. In Haiti it's reported that 23 are dead with thirteen missing and in Jamaica it's reported that twenty or more people have died and not only that, many houses were tragically destroyed as well too. It's been said whenever a hurricane has a male name it's not severe but whenever a hurricane has a female name, it's absolutely horrible. The news also was saying this is one of the worst hurricanes that has ever taken place on the Atlantic coast and I believe one of the worst since 2005's "Hurricane Katrina". With such devastation of "Hurricane Melissa" that has impacted multiple countries how should a Christian respond? Well that's easy prayer. Number one pray for those who don't know Christ as Lord and Savior to come to Him and not allow this devastating event make them bitter at Him. We know that life can make one bitter or better or run to God when the going gets tough or run from God. Number two pray for those who lost loved ones that the Lord will comfort them and it says in Psalm 34:18 KJV "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart and saveth such as a contrite spirit". Number three pray for those who have lost power that electricity come back on. Number four pray for the water disruption to be regulated. Number five pray for those that are missing to be found and brought back safely. Number six pray for those who are now homeless to be able to find a home. Number seven pray for first responders and philanthropy programs to help put the people back on their feet in the midst of this tragedy. I'm thinking of organizations such as "Convoy Of Hope", "Samaritan's Purse", and "Convoy Of Miracles" that specialize in Gettysburg food, water, and clothing to people in need and help in other ways. Let's also pray that God will give us wisdom in the body of Christ to financially help the people or other ways to help them. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. I want y'all to know that while the majority of my blogs talk about spiritual matters I do make sure to address global issues from a Christian perspective. Last year I wrote several blogs that mentioned pray for certain places affected by hurricanes is to show y'all I'm aware of natural disasters. I also host virtual prayer meetings and we definitely will lift these victims in prayer at my virtual prayer meetings as well. Hi ladies it's me again, happy Lord's day, and happy November! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "The Second Coming Of Christ". You may be thinking. "Why is that important to know about?" If you been following my blogs this past month I've been writing about the End times starting with the rapture then the seven year tribulation period. What's going to happen at the end of the seven year tribulation period which will be the worst time on earth? Well the battle of Armageddon is going to happen and the book of Revelations talks about that. The armies of the world along with the Anti-Christ and false prophet will team up to once and for all attack Israel! Folks let me clear about this. If anyone ever attacks Israel they are attacking God period! It is never ever right to attack Israel and the sad thing of today is I hear "so-called Christians" speaking evil of Israel. God promised Abraham in Genesis 12:2,3 that "God will bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him". It wasn't just for Abraham but for his seed and his seed is Israel! Anyhow when the Anti-Christ, false prophet, and the armies of the world fight against Israel what's gonna happen? Revelations 19:11-21 mentions that Christ will ride a horse dressed like a king and the armies of heaven (raptured saints) also riding horses to fight those wicked armies who will attack Israel! That's why it's so important for the body of Christ to pray for Israel and stand for Israel in this present day! Because that's what we're gonna do with Christ one day is we'll help Him fight Israel. What will our Lord do to the Anti-Christ? Well He'll toss the Anti-Christ and false prophet alive into the Lake of fire! Whew! They'll be in the Lake of fire long before the wicked dead, Satan, and his demons go there! (The wicked dead won't be raised back to life or turned to the Lake of fire until a later time.) Other wicked armies will drop dead and Israel will be preserved. After that, Christ will raise another group of dead people outside of the raptured saints. Who are those other dead people? During the rapture, the people Christ raised from the dead were Christians from the New Testament and Church Age era not the Old Testament saints! But after His Second Coming, Christ will raise the Old Testament saints from the dead and Gentile Christians that the Jewish Christians during the tribulation led to Christ who died back to life! Christ's feet will touch the Mount of Olives which we know is in Jerusalem the capital city of Israel. When Christ appeared at His First coming it was to die on the cross and rise again, His Second Coming will be to bring judgement to those who fight Him and Israel. When Jesus came the first time, He came as a Lamb but this Second Coming He'll come as a Lion. When Jesus rode on the streets of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday during "holy week" He rode on a donkey. Why? Because when a king ride on a donkey meant He came to bring peace to where he's going on and that's what Jesus did! It also was a fulfillment of prophecy mentioned in Zechariah 9;9. But what happens if a king rides a horse? On Christ's Second Coming He'll ride a horse to make war! After Christ's Second Coming, He will set up His earthly kingdom in power and glory and will rule for 1,000 years! I'll write more about the Millennial reign in another blog but ladies it's essential for us to know about the End times more than ever before. That's why I'm writing about it! I'm taking a break from writing blogs about the End times because there's something very important I believe the Lord wants me to share about. I'm happy to present another blog called "Halloween Vs Reformation Day". Why is that important to know? Well in three days, it will be October 31st won't it? Here's what you ladies need to know. Halloween used to be on November 1st and used to be called "Hallows Eve". The date was later changed to October 31st and the Celtics started wearing costumes like witches, ghosts, and goblins with the purpose to "scare evil spirits away!" Wow! The purpose of the Jackelanter was to put a "demonic face" on it! Whew! Ladies this is very important to understand. Halloween is the most demonic holiday there is! In fact the Bible warns about messing around with witchcraft and also not to partner with darkness. Halloween also promotes fear and celebrates the demonic realm. I believe that Christians need to be aware of that and need to stop celebrating Halloween altogether! The other thing about witchcraft is they're seeking power from an evil source which is the devil and use power to bring curses on people which is so wicked! I'm not saying this to scare you ladies but to bring awareness to this pagan holiday! Also growing up as a child me and my siblings weren't allowed to celebrate Halloween and my sister used to dread it especially the Halloween commercials. We celebrated Harvest Fest at "Capital Christian Center Church" (now called "Mercy Memorial Baptist Church") and at "Discover Church" we did family fall festivals but no Halloween. Ladies we need to pray and stand against the enemy not join forces with him! You don't need to celebrate a creepy ghost party but we need to celebrate a Holy Ghost party! On the contrast Reformation Day is also on October 31st and that's a day to honor Martin Luther not to be confused with Dr Martin Luther King Jr! (Side note Dr King Jr's birth name was Michael King Jr and his dad's birth name was Michael King Sr. It was during a trip to Germany that Reverend King Sr changed his name from Michael King Sr to Martin Luther King Sr and changed his sons name to Martin Luther King Jr after Martin Luther!) Martin Luther was from Germany and was a monk who was searching for truth. He denied himself food, whipped himself, and tried to find out the meaning of life. When he read a Scripture in Romans 1:17 "The just shall live by faith" changed his life. He realized that it was by grace through faith could he be saved. Well after he got saved his life changed! He wrote 95 thesis and hammered it to the Catholic Church's door. Why is that significant? Let me give y'all some history about the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church started off in Rome and at one time was solid in the Bible. When the gospel of Christ got to Rome and after the conversion of Christianity of Constantine, Christianity spread through Rome. Because Christianity spread through Rome, they were Roman Christians and you know the book of Romans in the New Testament came from Rome! Many Roman Catholic churches were founded and they once walked with the Lord and was solid in the Word. Then the dark ages happened and many Catholics believed in purgatory, prayed to saints, and did infant water baptism among other things. Plus they didn't want people to read the Bible for themselves! That became a problem and Martin Luther stood for the Word of God to the Catholic Church and even risked his life for doing so! But because Martin Luther stood up when he could have caved in, made a difference in his generation and generations to come. He also wrote a old hymn called "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" and wrote Christmas carol "Away In A Manger" that are still sung today. People that followed Martin Luther became known as "Lutheran's" which now is a denomination and the Protestant Reformation movement occurred. Protestant churches have been formed since then that are not Catholic and Jewish such as Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Church of God in Christ, Assemblies of God, (denomination I'm currently in) non-denominational, and even this online women's ministry "Women's Warriors Academy"! Ladies I believe it's essential that Christians need to live separate from the world and my goal is to promote the kingdom of light. Halloween promotes the kingdom of darkness but Reformation Day promotes the kingdom of light. Many of you have a good idea what I'm leaning towards. I pray that you ladies and your families need to make a choice what holiday you'll celebrate Halloween or Reformation Day. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "The Tribulation Period Part 2". In this blog I'll be sharing more about the seven year tribulation period that will precede the rapture of the saints. Why is knowing about the seven year tribulation after the rapture important to know? Well I mentioned in the previous blog that the 144,000 Jews will get saved during that time and that will happen before the judgments of God break out. I mentioned that these 144,000 Jewish Christians will share the gospel of Christ to Gentiles who got left behind and some of them will get saved. I also mentioned in the previous blog that the Anti-Christ will come on the world scene to trick those who refused to accept Christ as Lord and Savior and they'll be fascinated by him! The other thing is that the Anti-Christ will likely come from Europe or the Middle-east and will urge people to take the mark of the beast 666. Why will he pressure them to take the mark? Because during the tribulation period people won't be able to buy or sell without it and those who refuse the mark will be tormented and killed. It will be the Gentiles that the Jewish Christians led to Christ that will be brutally killed but they'll go to heaven while the Jewish Christians will escape to the wilderness and remain there for awhile to escape the Anti-Christ. There are other things I didn't mention in the previous blog that I need to mention here in this blog. Another key player during the tribulation period will be the false prophet who will assist the Anti-Christ. The false prophet will use "counterfeit signs and wonders" and will convince others to worship the Anti-Christ. But those who take the mark will be turned over to eternal torment where shall be no rest day and night forever. Also during the tribulation period the sun will turn black, the moon will become like blood, and a wormwood star will fall from the sky and many waters will dry up! Whew! Creation will be affected during the tribulation period! Other key players during the tribulation period will be the two witnesses. Many believe it will be Moses and Elijah because of what will happen when they prophesy. If people fight the two witnesses they can shit up the heavens with no rain, fire can come out of their mouths, waters can turn to blood, and smite the earth with plagues! Whew! After their time of prophecy is over the Anti-Christ will kill them and they'll be on the ground for three days and non-believers will rejoice and make merry that they're dead. But in three days, the breath of God will fill their lungs and angels will motion them to ascend to heaven and their enemies will watch them! Wow! Let's not forget at the end of the seven year tribulation that the battle of Armageddon will take place. (Side note the majority of things I mentioned Y'all can read about it in the book of Revelations the last book in the Bible.) Y'all might be thinking. "Why on earth will God allow this seven year tribulation period to happen?" Number one to bring consequences for those who rejected Christ as Lord and Savior and chose darkness over light. Number two to cause the Jewish nation to be saved and purified. The other reason is to allow the world to be handed over to Satan for seven years to show the world who the devil really is. The other reason is to show what it's like to live in a world where evil takes over with no restraint. The other reason is to show how wicked leaders like the Anti-Christ and false prophet will trick those who reject the truth ultimately leading to eternal separation from the Lord. Yet in the midst of wrath, salvation will be available though which is so wonderful. The tribulation period will last a period of seven years because the number seven in the Bible is completion. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:22 says "And except those days be shortened there should be no flesh saved but for the elect's sake the days shall be shortened". It's important to understand that the time for our unsaved loved ones to get saved and for prodigals to come back to Christ is now not during the tribulation period. The time for a Christian to fully live for Christ is now not during the tribulation period. My godfather said. "If a Christian struggles to live for Christ now it'll be much worse during the tribulation period". That's what I really want to emphasize. I don't write blogs like this or share about it during Sunday night Bible study to scare people. My godfather always says. "To be forewarned is to be forearmed". If you know what's coming ahead in the future, you know how to prepare. I don't want to miss the rapture and neither should y'all or your loved ones. The tribulation period will be the worst time of all history and believe me neither me, y'all, or our loved ones want to get left behind! That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. I'll be continuing on sharing about the last days on Sunday night Bible study all the way to November and explain more in depth of these things.
