Black History Month - Karen Clark Sheard

Hi ladies it's me again and I hope y'all are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog for "Black History Month" and it's about the life of Karen Clark Sheard and here are some facts about her. She was born in 1960, born a pastors kid and music director (the late Mattie Moss Clark) the youngest of several siblings in Detroit Michigan. Her older siblings were her brother Leo, and her older sisters were Jacky, Denise, Elbernita "Twinkie", and Dorinda Clark Cole. Karen got saved and started singing at a young age and graduated from Murford High school in 1978. Karen was part of "The Clark Sisters" and recorded several albums throughout the late 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Some of their popular hit songs were "Jesus Is A Love Song", "Hallelujah", "Expect Your Miracle," and "You Brought The Sunshine" just r name a few! Later on Karen Clark Sheard became a solo artist since 1997 with her solo album "Finally Karen" and has released several more solo albums. Her sister Dorinda Clark Cole became a solo artist later on too. She's also a family lady and married Bishop J Drew Sheard Dr and is her manager too. They have two adult kids J Drew Sheard Jr whose a producer and family man. She has a daughter named Kiera who's also a gospel artist and is married. Her daughter also portrayed her mother in "The Clark Sisters First Ladies Of Gospel". There you have it the life of Karen Clark Sheard. Not only is she still living and leaving a legacy so is her daughter and sister and she's a pastors wife too.
